JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

SDS Book Updates

Fire Marshal building tasks

Fire walk where there is no sprinkler system (2nd and 3rd floor)

Audits

Monthly Fire extinguisher sign offs

Monitor AED and First Aid supplies

Monitor Toolbox and Stretch + Flex program

Collect all forklift and Crane Pre work checklists daily

Collect all Machine Pre work checklists

Report on Safety Issues in the shop

Accident and Near miss reports

Document & update with any information pertaining to the safety of the employees

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma

2+ years of Safety experience preferred but not required

Construction/ Manufacturing background is a plus!

Valid driver’s license required

Ability to stand for extended periods of time

Ability to work in an environment with high noise level
