Junior Structural Engineer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform structural analysis for all components within a custom cladding / curtainwall system, including but not limited to: cladding, framing, connection, & anchorage

  Ensure project solutions meet or exceed applicable codes and standards, project specifications, and internal performance criteria

  Review material data sheets and specify project test criteria

  Design load determination and provide design loads imposed to structure

  Engage with project personnel across disciplines to specify structural criteria

  Coordinate with factory and field personnel to ensure materials and assembles are structurally adequate for crating, shipping, and rigging

  Coordinate with lead project engineer to meet project schedule and associated milestones

SOFTWARE:

• MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)

  Bluebeam/Adobe

  Familiar with MathCAD, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, and/or FEA software

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Possess 1-4 years of experience

  Ability to learn in-house proprietary software

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering—Required

  E.I.T. or ability to obtain within 1 year
